I taught classes to student nurses also nurses from Midlands Technical Collage to Lexington Medical Center different massage techniques to use for comfort and pain relief on patients suffering from chronic to depressive stages. I am the only African American Female Massage Therapist Business owner in Lexington County. I am very passionate about Massage Therapy and its benefits because not only do I help people recover from injuries or pain, I also help people recover from life in general.
"Long hours and stress is not new to me with my array of schooling, in addition to working many hours to support my family, I became familiar with the physical and mental tension on my body with out the ability to release. When I recieved my first massage I was astonished how the therapist allowed me to relax, and recover from life's pressure. I knew I wanted a career where I could help people and improve their way of living in a positive way!! I take pride in learning every aspect of what I do in my career and in my life."
My favorite quote is "Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care, for people will hear them and be influenced by them, for good or ill."
